Listen to the Band
We play a vast array of music, over 300 tunes at the last count, and are constantly adding new ones to our library. We’ve only recorded a handful of them, but these should be enough to give you a taste of the music we play.
This is the theme tune to the 1942 film Yankee Doodle Dandy starring James Cagney.
Here’s Louis Prima’s classic 1930s swing tune made famous by Benny Goodman in 1937: Sing Sing Sing.
This is another great swing tune, Easy Does It.
And finally, a beautiful ballad Blue Interlude played by Denis on alto saxophone.
The following tracks were recorded live rather than in a studio:
Mack the Knife (recorded at St. Peter’s by the Waterfront Sept ‘09)
Nice Work if You Can Get It (recorded at St. Peter’s by the Waterfront Sept ‘09)
I’ve got the World on a String
